Vieussan is a commune in Hérault with 229 registered voters, the 269th largest of the département's 341 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 66.4% of them voted, more than the 60% across Hérault, and VIEUSSAN NOS VILLAGES won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 33.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20%, Others 15%. Others did 12 points better here than across France.
