Montoulieu is a commune in Hérault with 159 registered voters, the 298th largest of the département's 341 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 64.2% of them voted, more than the 60% across Hérault, and MONTOULIEU AU COEUR won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 33.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.8%, Reconquête 9.5%. National Rally did 15 points worse here than across France.
