Hérépian is a commune in Hérault with 1,171 registered voters, the 143rd largest of the département's 341 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 59.9% of them voted, close to the 60% across Hérault, and HÉRÉPIAN DEMAIN won 19 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 35.5%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.6%, France Unbowed 16.8%. National Rally did 12 points better here than across France.
