Brissac is a commune in Hérault with 571 registered voters, the 191st largest of the département's 341 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 74.3% of them voted, more than the 60% across Hérault, and UNIS POUR BRISSAC won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 34.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.3%, National Rally 21.3%. France Unbowed did 13 points better here than across France.
