At the municipal election of March 2026 79.4% of them voted, more than the 62.8% across Hautes-Pyrénées, and UN NOUVEL ÉLAN POUR ANCIZAN won 9 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.2%, Others 18.7%, National Rally 18.2%. Others did 16 points better here than across France.
