About Vesoul

Vesoul is a commune in Haute-Saône with 9,172 registered voters, the largest of the département's 531 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.8% of them voted, fewer than the 62.1% across Haute-Saône, and 100% Vesoul won 29 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.9%, National Rally 23.8%, France Unbowed 23.5%.
