Saint-Ferréol-d'Auroure is a commune in Haute-Loire with 1,973 registered voters, the 25th largest of the département's 256 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 61.9% of them voted, close to the 62% across Haute-Loire, and RESTONS UN VILLAGE won 15 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.9%, France Unbowed 12%. France Unbowed did 10 points worse here than across France.
