Raucoules is a commune in Haute-Loire with 756 registered voters, the 64th largest of the département's 256 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.7% of them voted, more than the 62% across Haute-Loire, and À VOS CÔTÉS POUR BÂTIR L'AVENIR won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 39.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.1%, France Unbowed 13.9%. National Rally did 16 points better here than across France.
