Auzon is a commune in Haute-Loire with 693 registered voters, the 70th largest of the département's 256 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 54.7% of them voted, fewer than the 62% across Haute-Loire, and auzon pour tous won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.1%, France Unbowed 21.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 17.8%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
