Eaunes is a commune in Haute-Garonne with 5,014 registered voters, the 37th largest of the département's 586 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.3% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Haute-Garonne, and the list led by Alain Sottil won 22 of the council's 29 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 28.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.5%, France Unbowed 20.3%. National Rally did 5 points better here than across France.
