Blagnac is a commune in Haute-Garonne with 16,735 registered voters, the 5th largest of the département's 586 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 53.8% of them voted, fewer than the 58.7% across Haute-Garonne, and UNIS POUR BLAGNAC won 28 of the council's 35 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 30.7%, France Unbowed 26.1%, National Rally 14.1%. National Rally did 9 points worse here than across France.
