Riquewihr is a commune in Haut-Rhin with 829 registered voters, the 146th largest of the département's 365 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 75.2% of them voted, more than the 51.8% across Haut-Rhin, and Riquewihr, pour vous, avec vous ! won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 32.2%, National Rally 27.7%, France Unbowed 10.9%. France Unbowed did 11 points worse here than across France.
