About Saint-François

Saint-François is a commune in Guadeloupe with 12,602 registered voters, the 11th largest of the département's 32 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 53.1% of them voted, close to the 52.4% across Guadeloupe, and the list led by Jean-Luc Perian won 26 of the council's 33 seats after a second round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 46.3%, National Rally 21.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 15.5%. France Unbowed did 24 points better here than across France.
