About Cavignac
Cavignac is a commune in Gironde with 1,477 registered voters, the 145th largest of the département's 534 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 59% of them voted, close to the 58.7% across Gironde, and Cavignac, réussir ensemble won 16 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 37%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.6%, France Unbowed 17.3%. National Rally did 14 points better here than across France.
