Simorre is a commune in Gers with 593 registered voters, the 43rd largest of the département's 458 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 73% of them voted, more than the 66.1% across Gers, and SIMORRE ENSEMBLE won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.5%, France Unbowed 21.5%, National Rally 20.4%. Others did 6 points better here than across France.
