Vallérargues is a commune in Gard with 127 registered voters, the 333rd largest of the département's 349 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 91.3% of them voted, more than the 59.4% across Gard, and CONTINUONS ENSEMBLE won 10 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 34.1%, National Rally 25.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 16.5%. France Unbowed did 12 points better here than across France.
