Plouzané is a commune in Finistère with 10,309 registered voters, the 9th largest of the département's 276 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.9% of them voted, close to the 60.9% across Finistère, and Plouzane passionnement ! won 27 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 33.3%, France Unbowed 21.1%, National Rally 18.3%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 6 points better here than across France.
