About Guipavas

Guipavas is a commune in Finistère with 11,878 registered voters, the 6th largest of the département's 276 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.3% of them voted, fewer than the 60.9% across Finistère, and Guipavas Avenir won 26 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 37.6%, France Unbowed 19%, National Rally 17.4%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 10 points better here than across France.
