Argol is a commune in Finistère with 844 registered voters, the 181st largest of the département's 276 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 73.6% of them voted, more than the 60.9% across Finistère, and LE RENOUVEAU - A NEVEZ won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 26.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.7%, France Unbowed 17.8%. France Unbowed did 4 points worse here than across France.
