Montfort-sur-Risle is a commune in Eure with 624 registered voters, the 167th largest of the département's 584 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 58.2% of them voted, more than the 54.5% across Eure, and MONTFORT AUTREMENT won 12 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 36.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 21.4%, France Unbowed 19.7%. National Rally did 13 points better here than across France.
