Senantes is a commune in Eure-et-Loir with 475 registered voters, the 148th largest of the département's 363 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.4% of them voted, close to the 52.8% across Eure-et-Loir, and Vivre à Senantes won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 32.2%, National Rally 26.1%, France Unbowed 12.1%. France Unbowed did 10 points worse here than across France.
