Santeuil is a commune in Eure-et-Loir with 232 registered voters, the 248th largest of the département's 363 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 76.3% of them voted, more than the 52.8% across Eure-et-Loir, and SANTEUIL ENSEMBLE won 10 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 37.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.5%, France Unbowed 18.4%. National Rally did 14 points better here than across France.
