Les Ulis is a commune in Essonne with 13,690 registered voters, the 18th largest of the département's 194 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 39% of them voted, fewer than the 53.2% across Essonne, and Osons plus grand won 34 of the council's 35 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 46.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 22.8%, National Rally 11.7%. France Unbowed did 24 points better here than across France.
