Clérieux is a commune in Drôme with 1,494 registered voters, the 56th largest of the département's 362 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 61.4% of them voted, more than the 57.8% across Drôme, and AGISSONS ENSEMBLE POUR CLÉRIEUX won 15 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20.6%, France Unbowed 17.1%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
