Trélissac is a commune in Dordogne with 5,260 registered voters, the 6th largest of the département's 503 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.3% of them voted, close to the 65.8% across Dordogne, and TRELISSAC C'EST VOUS won 22 of the council's 29 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.7%, National Rally 22%, France Unbowed 19%. Communist Party did 3 points better here than across France.
