Sarrola-Carcopino is a commune in Corse-du-Sud with 2,564 registered voters, the 11th largest of the département's 124 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 71.2% of them voted, close to the 69.4% across Corse-du-Sud, and SARRULA E CARCUPINU PA DUMANI won 20 of the council's 23 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 39.3%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 14.7%, France Unbowed 14.7%. National Rally did 16 points better here than across France.
