About Alata

Alata is a commune in Corse-du-Sud with 3,111 registered voters, the 5th largest of the département's 124 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 78.9% of them voted, more than the 69.4% across Corse-du-Sud, and FERRANDI ETIENNE, INCU VOI. PER VOI won 23 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 31.6%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 14.7%, France Unbowed 14%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 13 points worse here than across France.
