Saint-Just is a commune in Cher with 543 registered voters, the 76th largest of the département's 285 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 77% of them voted, more than the 55.7% across Cher, and RURALITÉ AUDACIEUSE ACTE 2 won 14 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.2%, National Rally 25.6%, France Unbowed 14.6%. France Unbowed did 7 points worse here than across France.
