Oizon is a commune in Cher with 529 registered voters, the 78th largest of the département's 285 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.4% of them voted, more than the 55.7% across Cher, and OIZON, AUJOURD'HUI ET DEMAIN won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.4%, Reconquête 11.1%. France Unbowed did 12 points worse here than across France.
