Coteaux-du-Blanzacais is a commune in Charente with 704 registered voters, the 85th largest of the département's 359 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 70.3% of them voted, more than the 57.7% across Charente, and Les coteaux du blanzacais unis won 17 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 32.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 24.2%, France Unbowed 15.7%. National Rally did 9 points better here than across France.
