Thaon is a commune in Calvados with 1,502 registered voters, the 80th largest of the département's 526 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 69.5% of them voted, more than the 58.2% across Calvados, and UN THAON POUR TOUS won 15 of the council's 19 seats in the first round.
