About Hérouville-Saint-Clair

Hérouville-Saint-Clair is a commune in Calvados with 12,612 registered voters, the 3rd largest of the département's 526 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 55.3% of them voted, fewer than the 58.2% across Calvados, and FIERS D'ÊTRE HÉROUVILLAIS won 28 of the council's 35 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 36.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.5%, National Rally 16%. France Unbowed did 15 points better here than across France.
