Forstfeld is a commune in Bas-Rhin with 544 registered voters, the 283rd largest of the département's 513 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 52.9% of them voted, fewer than the 55.8% across Bas-Rhin, and Ensemble, aller plus loin won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 39.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 28.5%, Reconquête 6.4%. National Rally did 16 points better here than across France.
