Betschdorf is a commune in Bas-Rhin with 2,895 registered voters, the 53rd largest of the département's 513 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 45.2% of them voted, fewer than the 55.8% across Bas-Rhin, and Ensemble pour l'avenir won 27 of the council's 27 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 38.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 27.4%, France Unbowed 9%. National Rally did 15 points better here than across France.
