Fontvannes is a commune in Aube with 494 registered voters, the 72nd largest of the département's 431 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.3% of them voted, more than the 54.5% across Aube, and CONTINUONS FONTVANNES ENSEMBLE won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 40.4%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 23.7%, France Unbowed 13.6%. National Rally did 17 points better here than across France.
