Lieurac is a commune in Ariège with 146 registered voters, the 179th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 67.1% of them voted, more than the 64% across Ariège, and LISTE CITOYENNE DE LIEURAC won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 45.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 17.1%, National Rally 17.1%. France Unbowed did 23 points better here than across France.
