About Camarade

Camarade is a commune in Ariège with 164 registered voters, the 166th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 65.9% of them voted, close to the 64% across Ariège, and POUR CAMARADE won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 34.5%, Reconquête 12.9%, Others 11.2%. Ensemble (Macron camp) did 17 points worse here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Raphaël Glucksmann ahead on 28.9%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 26.7%.
