Bethmale is a commune in Ariège with 110 registered voters, the 212th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 80% of them voted, more than the 64% across Ariège, and BETHMALE ENSEMBLE won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 35%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18%, Others 15%. France Unbowed did 13 points better here than across France.
