About Artigat

Artigat is a commune in Ariège with 475 registered voters, the 59th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 71.4% of them voted, more than the 64% across Ariège, and UN NOUVEL ELAN POUR ARTIGAT won 13 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 33.6%, National Rally 20.9%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 20%. France Unbowed did 12 points better here than across France.

Moved to today's national polls, our projection for the 2027 first round here has Marine Le Pen ahead on 32.2%, with Jean-Luc Mélenchon on 25.8%.
