About Aleu

Aleu is a commune in Ariège with 161 registered voters, the 169th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 76.4% of them voted, more than the 64% across Ariège, and AVANCONS ENSEMBLE won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted France Unbowed 35.7%, National Rally 20.2%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 19.4%. France Unbowed did 14 points better here than across France.
