About Aigues-Vives
Aigues-Vives is a commune in Ariège with 546 registered voters, the 55th largest of the département's 325 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.1% of them voted, close to the 64% across Ariège, and ENSEMBLE POUR AIGUES VIVES won 15 of the council's 15 seats in the first round.
In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 33.4%, France Unbowed 23.7%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18.8%. National Rally did 10 points better here than across France.
