Caussols is a commune in Alpes-Maritimes with 378 registered voters, the 108th largest of the département's 163 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 87% of them voted, more than the 55.3% across Alpes-Maritimes, and CAUSSOLS ENSEMBLE won 9 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 41.8%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 18%, France Unbowed 10.9%. National Rally did 18 points better here than across France.
