About Biot

Biot is a commune in Alpes-Maritimes with 8,037 registered voters, the 18th largest of the département's 163 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 60.8% of them voted, more than the 55.3% across Alpes-Maritimes, and Tous pour Biot won 28 of the council's 33 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted Ensemble (Macron camp) 32.6%, National Rally 19.8%, France Unbowed 13.9%. France Unbowed did 8 points worse here than across France.
