Jouaignes is a commune in Aisne with 109 registered voters, the 599th largest of the département's 797 communes. At the municipal election of March 2026 62.4% of them voted, more than the 56.3% across Aisne, and CONTINUONS ENSEMBLE won 11 of the council's 11 seats in the first round.

In the first round of the 2022 presidential election the commune voted National Rally 41.1%, Ensemble (Macron camp) 25.6%, Republicans 10%. National Rally did 18 points better here than across France.
