About Picanya
Picanya is a municipality in the province of Valencia/València with 11,665 inhabitants, the 46th largest of its 266 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSOE came first with 50.2% of the vote and 9 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 4. 72.6% of the 9,061 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PSOE on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 57% of our simulations.
