About Poio
Poio is a municipality in the province of Pontevedra with 17,276 inhabitants, the 15th largest of its 61 municipalities. Its council has 17 seats, and 9 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 53.4% of the vote and 10 seats, an absolute majority; PSDEG-PSOE was second with 4. 65.5% of the 14,030 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 9 seats, a majority, which it holds in 74% of our simulations.
