Parada de Sil is a municipality in the province of Ourense with 531 inhabitants, the 85th largest of its 92 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSDEG-PSOE came first with 58% of the vote and 5 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 1. 74.6% of the 469 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
