Ribas de Sil is a municipality in the province of Lugo with 937 inhabitants, the 62nd largest of its 67 municipalities. Its council has 7 seats, and 4 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PSDEG-PSOE came first with 59.3% of the vote and 5 seats, an absolute majority; PP was second with 2. 81% of the 820 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
