Cospeito is a municipality in the province of Lugo with 4,342 inhabitants, the 13th largest of its 67 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 55.1% of the vote and 7 seats, an absolute majority; PSDEG-PSOE was second with 4. 73.3% of the 3,766 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
On today's national polls our projection keeps PP on 6 seats, a majority, which it holds in 90% of our simulations.
