Tamarite de Litera is a municipality in the province of Huesca with 3,445 inhabitants, the 9th largest of its 202 municipalities. Its council has 11 seats, and 6 make a majority to choose the mayor.
In May 2023 PP came first with 44.1% of the vote and 6 seats, an absolute majority; PSOE was second with 4. 67.3% of the 2,481 voters on the roll cast a valid vote.
